This is me.
Who are you?
Currently, I am a PhD student at UC Berkeley School of Information. Before that, I worked at OpenGeo as a project manager and developer on the GeoNode project. I’m from New England originally, spent four years in New York City, and now am living in the Bay Area. Among other things, I write a lot.
What is this website?
sbenthall.net is my personal website. By which I mean, it’s a website for my ‘personal’ interests, as opposed to my ‘professional’ ones.
In practice, it is mostly an outlet for my amateur art and creative writing: (very) short fiction, essays, drawings, event scores. If you are looking for information about my professional work, a better place to look is Digifesto.
How was this website made?
This website is hosted on some server space generously lent to me by Anil Makhilani. It’s built using Wordpress. It’s using an evolving, hacked Sandbox theme and Blueprint for CSS.
